Another brutally unproductive day...So far, I called in sick to work, ate breakfast, slept until 1 and then recorded a new voicemail message on my cell phone. I have this horrible cough, and it's not so much that the cough is bothering me today but that I was coughing so much yesterday that all my muscles hurt so much, when I cough today I end up doubled over and fall onto the floor. I'm not even over-dramatizing it, it really hurts that bad. It feels like I went to the gym and did WAY too many sit-ups and then got in a car accident on the way home from the gym.
ANYWAY, my new voicemail message is a lot more fun that what it's been for the past year ("Hey, It's Becky, Leave a message!") I mean, what is that? It lacked much of my creative voicemail making talent. The new one is wonderful. It even has music. Feel free to ch-ch-check it out. 701-9753. You might have to talk to me first and explain what you're doing. Hah. Why do I think that's so funny?? WHHHY?
Very excited for the flyball tournament this weekend in Coaldale. I'm running Strider, Aero, and this other black cocker for another team. I think I need a shirt that says "I Love Black Cocks", but no one else thinks this is as good of an idea as I do. What a sham. Bender doesn't get to come this weekend cuz we don't have room to take extra dogs, he might be kinda sad, but he's better off running around the house with my mom than sitting in his kennel all weekend. I'll be too busy running 3 dogs to do much with him anyway. He'll be ready soon tho! He did AWESOME at practice on Tuesday. We've discovered that Bender could pull miracles out of his ass for a swiffer as a reward. So that's that, I'll be running my dog back to a swiffer. Atleast it will be original.
The baby birds in the nest outside my mom's bedroom window are growing fast. I'm not expecting them all to live long. The dogs know they're there and it's only a matter of time ebfore the cat discovers them. I'd try to protect them but then I'd only be that much more attached to them and upset when they finally meet their doom. Or maybe I'm being too negative and they'll all be fine. But I doubt it. I'll take some pictures as soon as I get my camera back.
Other than being physically ill, I've been feeling pretty good lately. I'm going to start working as much as I can to save up for a car. I think I've decided on financing a VW Jetta. Probably 2002-2004, not a new one, cuz I can't afford it and because the new one's are kind of ugly. This plan might change, but it's my plan for now. I was going to get something bigger to put the dogs in, but really I only have two little dogs, so I don't need much room.
Well that should be good enough for an update on my life at the moment. I will talk to you all later!
